STOKE & NEWCASTLE TUSC FIGHTING AGAINST AUSTERITY!

Campaign details for tomorrow (Friday) and Sat 29 March
  • KEEP PRIVATE VULTURES OUT OF THE NHS! - building opposition to the £1.2 billion sell-off of local NHS services to private companies.
  • HANDS OFF OUR YOUTH SERVICES! – calling on Newcastle Borough Council to draw up immediate plans to ensure that no youth services are closed across Newcastle
  • SCRAP ZERO HOUR CONTRACTS! - 6 million workers now on these 'contracts'. TUSC is fighting to get them scrapped. We want Newcastle council to ban Zero Hour contracts for their own workers and not to do any deals with firms who use them.
Friday 28 March (tomorrow)
our election campaign stall will be out in Silverdale from 10am onwards outside the Co-op in High St and we will also be delivering leaflet to hundreds of homes.

Saturday 29 March
our campaign stall will move to Newcastle town centre opposite the entrance to the Roebuck Shopping Centre starting at 10am. TUSC will also be backing the Youth Fight For Jobs Day of Action which will be protesting outside nearby fast food outlets against Zero Hour contracts and for a living wage of £10 an hour.

CAN YOU SPARE AN HOUR OR SO TO COME AND HELP OUR CAMPAIGN AGAISNT CUTS!
