Why is Newcastle council not opposing the £1.2 billion hand over of front line NHS services to private companies?
It’s time Newcastle’s Labour council ended it’s silence on this sell-off.
It’s time they and Stoke-on-Trent city council made a commitment to oppose this private plunder of our NHS services.
- Publicly oppose the £1.2 billion sell-off of NHS cancer and end of life care across Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle and Staffordshire.
- Fight instead for a fully funded and publicly owned and controlled NHS
- ‘Call-in’ this sell-off to be debated by their Health Overview and Scrutiny committee
- Organise a referendum of the population of Newcastle Borough and campaign for a ‘No to the NHS sell-off’ vote
